Garri is a dry cream-white flour mainly consumed in West Africa. It is obtained by processing the starchy tuberous root of freshly harvested cassava in a sequence of demanding steps involving: peeling, washing, crushing, fermenting, drying and frying. Gari (garri)is a fine to coarse granular flour of varying texture made from cassava roots.   5. Add little water to mixture and MUX to make the garri soft and easy to chew then taste to check if salt was enough.
  6. Cut onion bulb and put into moisture and mix as well.
  7. Brabisco is ready for consumption.

For a full meal, garri is usually cooked by adding it to hot water, then kneading it into dough. This is eaten with different types of thick, leafy vegetable stews, melon seed stews, peanut stews, or beans.
