Tomato and garlic chutney instructions

  1. Wash the tomato and cut into picese.
  2. Then place the tomato piece into a sauce pan add kokam pulp and green chillies dry red chilli. and cook covered without any water until the skin stars to peel..
  3. Heat oil in a heavy bottom wok add mustard seed and curry leaves let tham crackle..
  4. Add chana daal add asafoetida chopped garlic cloves..
  5. Cook for 1 minutes..
  6. Then add blanched tomatoes.Add salt,chilli flakes and roasted methi seed powder in it..
  7. Mash continuously..
  8. Continue to mash until the chutney is done.Let it cool completely..
  9. Fill in a clean jar after the chutney is cold and store it in the refrigerator. And enjoy 3 months of this Tasty Tomato garlic Chutney..

This is a spicy, tangy & tasty chutney made from tomatoes. It pairs extremely well with idli, dosa, uttapam, pakora or vada varieties. This tomato chutney is a no onion and no garlic recipe.
